Restaurant and bar Charly

Restaurant and Bar Charly more commonly known as Charly’s in Los Ayala is one of those rare finds, a place that has reasonably prices and quality food. They have all the regular stuff plus some of the best seafood around at any price.

The restaurant is small, clean and airy.

The kitchen is where you can see it and talk to the cook if you like.

It’s the kind of place you would expect the menu to be written on the wall and indeed it is. Their specialty is seafood

but they have meats

and breakfast too.

To get to Charly’s in Los Ayala: Turn off highway 200 at the Oxxo which has no gas station and follow the map. You can also take the collectivo to the very end of its run and walk about 10 minutes toward the beach. A standard taxi from La Peñita will cost you about 40 pesos.
