Current Project: A roof over the play area is needed to provide shade and protection during the rains.  Future plans call for an outside kitchen.  The current shade tarp is in rough shape but sufficient to shade the playground equipment once the new roof goes in.  The parents are asking us to build the support posts for the roof so they can claim it as part of the 20% the municipal government has asked them to raise for the whole project.

November 20, 2009 — Completed

April 23, 2009 — Parents report to the committee that they wish to use the funds allocated to the project by the committee to convince the municipality to do the rest of the work.  Sofia will contact the municipality and ask them to proceed.

March 17, 2009 — the project places second in the priority voting.
