La Joya Kindergarten – History
A new project to build a breakfast area was started in April 2012. See details below.
The original project is now completed!!! Thanks you to everyone who made that possible.
The original project was the construction of a new kindergarten in the community of La Joya located at the south end of Rincon de Guayabitos in the state of Nayarit, Mexico. There is currently a small shack which houses 5 students. Another dozen or so students leave the community to attend classes. Land has been assigned to the project.
The project will include one classroom, and a boy’s and girl’s bathroom on a septic system.
The cost of the project: approximately 260,000 pesos or US$22,000.
Location of the project: La Joya, Nayarit, Mexico (a neighbourhood of Rincon de Guayabitos)
