Renew FM3

This is an annual event for 4 years. After 4 renewals (i.e. 5 years of FM3 status) you must apply for a new FM3 or an FM2 if you want to continue your residency status.

If you did not arrive here from the application procedure page read it or the following will make no sense.

Things to remember:

You can start the renewal process 30 days prior to the expiry date. After the on line process you must attend an INM office near your address of residency. Documents needed are listed here.

Choose these options and then continue following the instructions on the application procedure page:

If your current FM3 is the old green booklet you will need passport photos.

If you have your plastic card then you do not need photos for a renewal.
