Popup Blocker how to turn it off
A popup window blocker is a tool that lives in your internet browser. As the name suggests it prevents those annoying popup windows from reaching your screen because they usually include annoying ads. For this reason very few web designers will use the popup window for anything useful but sometimes it does happen. When it does you may not see important information so you need to disable the tool. For example you need to turn it off when you use the INM web site to make a visa application.
The pop-up blocker tool is found in the tools menu of your browser.
In Mozilla’s Firefox it looks like this:

Clicking on Options and the Content tab gets you:

In the top row of that turn off the check mark beside “Block pupup windows” by clicking on it and click OK.
On my windows 7 Internet explorer it looks like this:

click the “Turn Off Pop-up Blocker”tab and you are finished
but it was also indicated by the small wrench like this:

On my very old XP system running Windows Explorer version 6 it looks like this:

but here you need to use the Privacy tab. Click the checked box beside the “Block pop-ups” label and click OK

On Google Chrome use the little wrench at the far right hand side and select options, under the hood, content settings, pop-up tab to get to here:

select Allow all sites… and close all.
