Enter Spanish characters with ALT key
If you only use Spanish characters rarely you may not want to install the US international keyboard. It may be easier for you to use the Alt key in combination with the numeric keypad.
To do that on a standard English keyboard hold down the key marked ALT to the left side of the space bar and type the numbers shown below. When you release the ALT key the character shown will appear. The leading zeros are necessary.

ñ – 0241

¿ – 0191 – leading question mark
¡ – 0161 – leading exclamation point
Á – 0193
