Twitter :

There is an excellent article on why you probably feel disconnected from Twitter or even hate it.  Those of us who have found a use for it like it a lot.  For example if your teenagers or college age children or grand children have stopped answering their emails it is probably because they only use Twitter and find the other media too slow.

If you want to stay in touch  with them you may want to consider your own twitter account and consider only allowing your family to access it.  That way you can discuss pretty intimate stuff.   I can’t give you access to mine because that is how we use it i.e. a private message board for family members only.  Emails became less frequent and then almost non existent but now we have some communication from almost everyone each day or two.

I can show you the Jalapeño Twitter account but it is a bad example because I don’t update it often enough and have not had time to promote it.    The CBC Twitter account is pretty good.
