Rainfall is very concentrated in the summer months. Many years there may be no rainfall at all from November to April.

The temperature is particularly pleasant during the tourist season.

When combined with the higher temperatures the humidity can be a bit difficult for northerners during the summer months but during the usual tourist season it is a very pleasant combination.

Tropical storms and the occasional hurricane are usually limited to the summer months but occasionally we will get good wave action and a blow during the tourist season.
