Volunteer opportunities

People often ask if there are volunteer opportunities in the area.  Current opportunities for volunteers are updated on the forum as they happen.

We usually have a number of volunteer activities going on.

The Spay and Neuter clinic happens several times each year:

El Gran Bazaar happens in January. You could join it as a volunteer.:

Volunteer days for school projects are  scheduled periodically.  Last year we had several at La Patria:

You could also join the Rotary club. That would get you out of the house early every Wednesday morning for breakfast (50 pesos) and fellowship (free). Membership is not required. There is an organizing committee for their main event too:

You could also join the Jalapeño team as a contributor. We will need folks to photograph the many events that happen around town and we welcome contributions like recipes:
