Statistics and graphs compare Mexico

Here are some statistics and graphs comparing Mexico to Canada, the United States , Denmark and the United Kindom. The graphs and charts use data compiled by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) unless noted otherwise. The data used represents the most recent available from the OECD (May 2011) which in most cases is 2008. For a definition of the metrics please visit the OECD data base.

The OECD data base includes data covering a broad range. Presented is information which has been used in other articles and where Mexico is particularly different from other OECD countries. For comparison Canada and the US are presented because that is where the majority of Jalapeño readers live. Denmark is included as an example of a social democratic government. The U.K. is included to give balance to the European perspective as a less socialist society than Denmark.
