A note re Time Zone:
Some of the sites talk about time zones and may not have updated the information recently.
We are one hour earlier than Puerto Vallarta and as of March 2010 a number of our neighbors to the south went on the same time as Puerto Vallarta. The dividing line is at Lo de Marcos. Actually it is all of the municipality of Bahia de Banderas that changed. That includes San Pancho, Bucerias, Punta de Mita, Sayulita and all the small towns in that area.

traffic fines — An interesting article about the rights of drivers and the amount of a traffic fine. It points out that it is not smart to bribe a traffic cop because of the ridiculously low amounts of fines.

Great work folks! Your progress is obvious and appreciated.
You mentioned that La Penita is “one hour later” than P.V….is it later, or earlier?…
I’m pretty sure it’s an hour “later” in Puerto Vallarta, and Guadalajara than it is in Penita at any given time.
Please correct me if I’m wrong!
