Today’s Walk Against Cancer was well attended by an enthusiastic crowd of hundreds who wound their way to Hinde and Jaimes for burgers and refreshments, a bit of dancing and good fellowship.
The Zumba Class was out in force:
As was the CCC with their oil can drum:
Such fine costumes and great smiles:
I did not get very many of the volunteers and it even took two shots to get Yvonne and Tara, the main driving force behind the walk and the mammography program it supports.
Chris MC’d the event doing an excellent job of auctioning off various items.
Adan once again supported the event with his music.
Some folks even found shadey tables:
And bring up the tired tail end of the walk:
A big tip of the Jalapeno sombrero to all you volunteers and organizers for the great job you do for local women who would not be able to afford cancer screening without your help. THANK YOU!!!!
