The farce, “Touch and Go”, which premiered Thursday, February 4, wrapped up on Sunday, February 7. Thanks to your support, each night was a sellout. Kudos to Penny Richards, Producer, and Bob Richards, Technical and Artistic Director and their support team.
The net proceeds of this event go to the Los Amigos de Jaltemba Scholarship fund. Pictured in the photo are Vern Porter, Los Amigos board member and liaison to the scholarship committee with Elena and Alex, two scholarship students. Elena is an aspiring medical doctor and Alex hopes to pursue a career in accounting.
The production allowed the audience to check stress at the door, and just sit back and laugh after having enjoyed a delicious meal catered by Tonita III.
When George’s wife Jessica, (Penny Richards) goes away on a business trip, he lends his flat to his friend Brian (Dave Edwards) who is looking for a love nest of sorts to rendezvous with Wendy (Kat Traub). Meanwhile, George (Jeff Rogers) grabs the opportunity to take up with Hilary (Marion Rogers).
Then, Jessica arrives home early!
Things become complicated as George, Brian, Wendy and Hilary hastily improvise lies in a desperate attempt to mislead Jessica
Watching as everything unravels is what made “Touch and Go” hilariously funny.
