Friday was the first day of the baking class for children at the Jaltemba Bay community center, CCC, in La Peñita. The class was attended by 15 children who paid $100 pesos each for the course including their very own donated apron. It is the policy of the community center to include children who cannot afford the price of any course. In this case two children entered free of charge.
There was bread with raisins, cinnamon and oregano.

Below is the email Viky sent me with very few changes. I added a bit of punctuation. It is common to receive emails like this from local folks without capitalization, accents and punctuation even from teachers so I thought it would make a good example:

se mandaron hacer mandiles de tela donada para los niños el costo fue de $100.00 pesos lo cual inclua un mandil. fue divertido asistieron 15 niños de lso cuales 2 fue gratis por ser niños de bajos recursos al final se repartio el pan entre todos. fantastico.
